Gastroenterology and Hepatology Introduction

Division of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology is a part of important unit in Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Universiti Malaya. We provide excellent teaching and training programme for those who are interested in the area of gastroenterology and hepatology. We offer comprehensive and state-of the art care in a wide range of complex Gastorintestinal (GI) and liver disease in the Malaysia.

Our unit is credentialed as the most advanced tertiary centers and training centers for the National Gastroenterology Training Programme in Malaysia. We are also one of the 17 endoscopy unit in the world to be accredited as the Center of excellence by the World Endoscopy Oragnization (WEO).
