SCOPE School Malaysia 2026 is a one-day educational programme dedicated to advancing evidence-based obesity management, organised by Universiti Malaya, in collaboration with the Malaysian Obesity Society (MYOS) and the Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity (MASO). As part of the global Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE) initiative by the World Obesity Federation (WOF), the programme complements SCOPE E-Learning modules and contributes points towards SCOPE accreditation.
Bringing together leading local and international experts in obesity medicine, the programme offers a practical, multidisciplinary approach to obesity care — spanning clinical assessment, behavioural and lifestyle interventions, pharmacotherapy, bariatric surgery, mental health, sleep disorders, and weight stigma — along with hands-on interactive workshops.
SCOPE School Malaysia 2026 is designed for healthcare professionals, general practitioners, and allied health professionals with an interest in obesity management.
