Cardiology Introduction

The division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine is a specialized unit that offering an education programme in a general cadiology care and interventional cardiology procedures. As training center we are focusing on teaching and training students who are interested in cardiology specialities. We offer learning opportunities of cardiology ares through our undergraduate programme, post-graduate programme and also fellowship programme. We have trained specialist doctor in cardiology all over the country.

Our cardiac catheterization, which began in 1971, has been led by renowed experts in teh field. Our state-of-the-art invasive cardiovascular laboratory in menara Selatan provides 24-hour daily services.  We're also committed to innovation, with plans  underway to estalish a cardiac catheterization laboratory in the Emergency Department to improve the effeciency of primray Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) for STEMI patients.
